Ha! Yes...I do wear leather. I try not to, but it's oh so difficult :)
As for the tree, I'm a bit torn on it to be honest. Part of me thinks we should never cut down trees, and part of me thinks they're planted specifically for this purpose. It's not as if we went into the woods and just cut down a tree for pure enjoyment. Also, when they plant those Christmas trees, they produce oxygen. And when one is cut down, they plant another.
Who knows? Maybe the Supreme Uncle Michel has some thoughts on the subject???
