great site. I wish eating green and healthy was a little less expensive, wow $30 for a loaf of bread. Right now it is only for the wealthy. I hope the prices will lower as demands get greater, or else how do poor people get some of these delicious allergy free food. Wal Mart has a lot of green products now. When things hit Wal Mart, that means critical mass has been reached.
Sarah, with your new vegan friends, have you thought of maybe researching on making a certain kind of cookies that are allergy free that can hit the Wal Mart shelf, like the Amy's frozen food?
yes babycakes can be expensive but they are a small business. and it does take a lot of creativity and special ingredients to eliminate all of those things that people have allergies to. they do have gluten free and vegan options at whole foods, a whole aisle dedicated to it, at very reasonable prices.
our whole foods also offers bakery items that are vegan...scones, cake, brownies, etc.
