Scarf

the green part is leftover from another project. the ruffle is same yarn as Ngoc's scarf. I also taking order, the price is cheaper than Tori's. the quality in his work is obvious. not competing with him, just pure admiration.

waow!!!
what a model!!!

Besides modeling, and news casting, can you cook?

The scarfing competition is tough out there. But we only use Wal Mart's finest $1.25 yarn ball.
When you order, make sure you specify WMF (Wal Mart Finest) or else you will end up with a cheap but well designed scarf. The huge gaps are part of the design.
The bigger the gaps, the higher the price.

how long will it take to arrive at my door after i place my order?

sarah-mai said...

do you have expedited services and shipping? say...if you keep him home from school to knit. at least he'll be bringing in money that way.

templin said...

first of all:
We only take cash or muffins!!!
How long do you want it to be? 8 feet or 10 feet (we charge by the foot). How many holes and how big?

The earliest we can have it to your door is 1-10-2010.

The delay is due to our attention to details.

It took Tory 8 times of starting over and taking all the knots out of the yarn before the final 9th attempt.

After this scarf, you will not ever want another.

Sorry, Chi Ngoc

i'll send muffins...they will be duncan hines, but i'll send them right away!!!!!

this isn't "the pose" though. "the pose" is where she is sitting down with her knees drawn up and towards the side a bit. if you look at all her pictures in her pre-American days, she's sitting in "the pose"

looks like I found the next top model for a major fashion campaign... or a Vietnamese mail order bride catalog which ever comes first.

I will start a photo portfolio for her.
Her knitting and cooking abilities should get us a high price.
I hope this will be OK with you Jim?

Ba Di One, why are you giving out your knitting secret only in french?

Nhu Ngoc said...

Mai Phuong,
before learning how to knit, you have to perfect your french !!!!!!!!!!

i can't stop laughing every time i look at those pictures of my mom. i can imagine my dad telling her how to pose to really accent the scarf...it really looks like a catalog :)

Now that you are talking about a catalog, I'm starting to think that the back ground isn't apropriate, we should have some snow... well, you know !
I'd like an orange and pink one too Tory! :) but you can take as long as you need :)

17 comments on a scarf! Do you all have nothing better to do than monitor this blog all day? Vietnamese mail order brides, food, muffins, cooking,WalMart, poses, languages, yarn and whatever else. One picture truly is worth a thousand words, at least in this family it is. Maybe like two thousand.
Jim

Laure,
We will start on your order right away. It might show up as your Christmas present next year so don't wait for it. It is all up to the emotional state of the little knitter, which most time is very unstable.
By the way it will cost you $4000.00. That will pay for us to go to Sarah's wedding.

Any one else want to place your "holy scarf" order?

Jim , I could use another photographer in the studio. You made my aunt look so fresh, natural and so skinny.

sarah-mai said...

do you need two photography assistants? heath and i are currently available...heath has catalog experience. we could really get the bride catalog off the ground.

templin said...

Absolutely,
I am thinking that we start with your mom, then work our way to the rest of the pure breeds. If that does not get any responses we then start with all the half and half.
Once again lots of good food!!!
