We have some sad news to share with you...Grandma Arlene passed away today. She was in the hospital for 5 days, so we all had our chance to say good-bye and how much we loved her. We are so grateful for that. She loved all of you so very much and always asked about you.
Here she is at her 88th birthday, two years ago.

j'ai essayé de le refaire mais il n'est jamais réussi comme le vôtre.

When I look at this picture I cannot help but remember Blanche. We loved Arleen, were always happy to spend some time with her. I remember she called me the "king of tour guides", made me very proud, knowing she enjoyed staying with us.
I know that the two will meet up there and have a lot to discuss. Not sure I want to hear all the details though.
I'm so sad. She was an incredible person and will be missed very much.

Thanks to all of you for your warm and thoughtful comments. She asked about you often. It was difficult keeping her up with all your activities but she like hearing about you all. She had a good life and will be missed.
