Just a couple of pics from the event...it was so packed that we had to watch from a viewing room (maybe we should have bought tickets earlier!) Unfortunately, we just missed Boule. He emailed us this weekend and said he looked for us but no luck.

Some of the attendees include Ed Begley Jr, Don McLean, John Robbins (son of Baskin Robbins fouder - a vegan/no ice cream for him), Shirley Jones, Kristin Bauer of True Blood, Cloris Leachman, Bill Conti (composer), Al Kasha (lyricist), Will Tuttle (author), and Alex Pacheco (co founder of Peta).

Family -

My mom, Chi Phuong and I just arrived in LA for an event that will be broadcast live on www.suprememastertv.com today at 2pm pacific/5pm eastern today. Don McLean will perform and Ed Beagley Jr will speak among many others if you'd like to watch!

Also know that Boule is helping behind the scenes to make it all happen :)

Frank Lloyd Wright Tour

We took the core tour of the Frank Lloyd Wright homes in Oak Park last weekend with Laure. Not our taste, but fun to see nonetheless :)

We came across this beautiful vibrant yellow caterpillar on the way. He might be a cousin of the white one we saw in Central Park.

first day of school 2011

We all woke up to thunderstorms this morning at 5AM. Two houses in our neighborhood were struck by lightning. We're going to bed at 8:00 tonight. :)

20 kids got on the bus at our stop this morning!

While the Bernard spent their summer cooking and eating(Be careful Laure about u.s ice cream!)
the Phan learned the rules of "Ultimate Survival".....!!
Their physical daily training consisted of a 1000 meter-swim,2 mn timed push-ups,2 mn timed curl-ups and a 4 mile-run.....
"Navy seals" are physically fit,mentally sharp,mature and resilient.....

Summer in Montpellier

As usual the Bernard welcome a lot of guests during summer.
To keep them entertain, they will drive 4 hours to Barjac to get some old fabrics.
And spend a whole day cooking to feed them.






We celebrated Rémi's birthday with a special cake.
He seemed very impressed!
