omaha roller derby

We took McKenzie and his friend Adam to a very strange event last night...Roller Derby. Have any of you seen the TV show My Name is Earl? It felt like an episode of that :) Like Middle America gone oh so wrong!!! The girls skate around the ring trying to pass certain players and it gets a little violent. Some girls crashed into McKenzie and I don't think he minded :)

Lunch under the Wisteria

The Bernard's (Martine, Marc and Sabine) came last week for a quick visit to Montpellier and Luberon.Early spring was just beautiful and the garden blooming, our wisteria is beginning to grow.

We stayed at our favorite B&B "La Victorine" and we beat the world record with 7 villages (castles included) and two abbeys all in one day ! Heath can be proud of me !

This picture was taken in Lacoste (near the marquis de sade's castle)

And this one is from Roussillon, with famous ochre cliffs.

Also we went to Baux de Provence (as a bonus) and were so lucky to be the only ones around, just amazing. But we got caught by the guards and got proper punishment, as you can see.

Back to Montpellier with the rain falling hard this week end.

Earth day

my new tom's shoes...it's a great company that sends one pair of shoes to a child who needs them for each pair you buy. they're super comfortable and this pair is vegan! great concept.

Post-it room

In this project, we had to invade a room with colors, we were four in our group and we filled the room with hundreds of post-its !
For some pictures, we used a black light, just like in night clubs..
