on the 3rd picture you can see the portal behind Ngoai . It's what remains of the house of Cantho (see picture No. 7).

the pictures made me so happy to look at.
You look so happy to be there too.
I forget how rich our country is, the earth is so full of gifts. The people are so connected to the soil.
Life seams so natural and at ease.
I would love to visit home again one day.
I love the one of the young boy pushing the cart full of coconuts. He looks like he is the same age as my oldest son Trey. How different their lives are.

Hi Mai Phuong,

the boy is the nephew of BeChin (my wife). He has 12 years. His family is poor, they live with what the land gives them.
They have almost nothing but happy to live. When I go there, I live as before, go fishing, look for the garden to eat, go chat with the villagers, go to market with the sampan. Life is simple. I try to show it to my children. I will live in this country in 4-5 years, you are welcome.
