A French wedding

We celebrated the union of two good friends last Saturday.
We had a lovely time and ended up going to bed at 5.
We're not getting over it!
Too old ;)
What was great is that some of the groom's friends (like Loïc) wore their uniform.
Lots of navy guy in the streets, people couldn't help but stare !

Restaurant

A little competition with Sarah and Heath :)

Last night, I went to this restaurant with Renaud, Gabi, Martine and baby Melville, to celebrate my exams !
It was near Paris on l'Ile Saint Germain, and it was SO beautiful, and SO delicious

Sorry I couldn't take good pictures with my phone, but I had a "mille feuille" with fresh goat cheese, zucchinis, tomatoes and pesto. Then duck with mashed sweet potatoes and a vanilla slice for desert.

Firemen !

On july the 13th, you have the famous "Bal des pompiers" (firemen bal) and you have parties all around Paris in the the firehalls.
We got the chance to see this !
It's very impressive how fast they go ! And how high too (2m20)

historic houses

A little video I took while driving through historic Charlston...sorry if it gives you a headache :)

The houses were all so beautiful! This was a typical street downtown.

Just back from Charleston...we had a great time!  Next time, we need some more family to join us so we can rent one of the enormous houses on the beach!!!  Who's in???

Our trip to Biscarrosse

We spend our holiday in Biscarrosse, near Bordeaux last week.
We stopped in Carcassonne, it was beautiful but already too hot!!!!


We went to the Dune of Pilat, which is the highest dune in Europe, absolutly stunning!



And we enjoyed the ocean and the lake.

We also spent a day in Bordeaux where they created a wonderful fountain where you can cool down (it was also very hot there). The boys loved it so much we couldn't leave!!!



It's beautiful because you can see the reflection of the buildings in the water.

Bday party
