we got up early and went to the macy's thanksgiving day parade. here are some pics...heath and mckenzie stayed in bed :) and heath and i made thanksgiving dinner! heath's sister, heather, brought some turkey and some great pumpkin desserts. her whole family came to stay with us!

We had a wonderful Sunday in Nice. We visited Loïc's cousin who lives in what used to be an italian hotel. The drawings shown here were made in 1796! They're wonderful!

brooklyn flea market

heath and i went to the brooklyn flea market this weekend. it was so great...old collectibles and vintage clothes and shoes, along with new things that local artists made. it was pretty cold and they were selling hot soup and hot apple cider. a perfect sunday!

Yesterday I was near the Palais Royal, and I saw those musicians playing, everyone was listenning, it was beautiful, it was a christmas or winter moment... I love that music by the way.... Papa, c'est de qui?

glamour event

megan (my co-worker) and i got to attend the glamour women of the year event last night...we saw hillary clinton, jane goodall, natalie portman, katie couric, barbara walters, nicole kidman, mary steenburgen, tyra banks, fergie, condoleezza rice, misty may-treanor, kerri walsh(from the women's beach volleyball team), and 3 women that have won the nobel peace prize. it was so inspiring and so much fun! all about empowering women and bringing peace to everyone everywhere.

it was so nice to see the race today...and there were so many people there to cheer on the runners. they were so encouraging - proving that new yorkers can be nice :)
