IKE
Ike was a giant storm and Houston took a direct hit.
It was a good thing that Alain and Surreal got to visit Galveston. The Island is %70 out at sea.
Lots of Karma to rinse.
Our house was at 14 feet above sea level and the storm surge was at 14 feet.
OUr house did not get flooded but the other half of Seabrook was 6 feet under water.
The wind at landfall was 100 mph with giant waves, many homes and businesses were lifted up and floated out to sea.
My studio did well, I am getting a new floor and new walls.
We have been without power for 2 weeks but finally back on last night.
The kids have been out of school for two weeks and will go back to school Monday.
LOve you all
